The study aims at identifying CFL (compact fluorescent light) treatment specified with low power of 20W, which significantly replaces 60W light to induce dragon fruit crop blooming. Surveys on Bình Thuận, Tiền Giang, Tây Ninh were conducted on 2013 December. 100% farms used CFL manipulation to enhance off-season flowering for dragon fruit crop số hộ trồng thanh. 60W light treatment obtained 35-40 flower buds/hill; 15-17 kg/hill. However, electric consumption increased the production cost.

The study aims at scientific parameters on supports, nutrients, pH, photoperiod sensitivity to identify the suitable practices on G₀ potato seeds’ productivity increasing. The medium included 1:1 volume of coconut fiber and peat soils became the best support of potato seeds after tissue culture. The medium also adapted to mechanization how to enhance root growth.
