ISAAA Inc., in partnership with 2Blades, released a Pocket K titled Rust-Resistant Soy for Africa, which is now available for free download from the ISAAA website.

 

This publication provides bite-sized information about the transgenic soybean developed by 2Blades scientists to help address Asian soybean rust disease in Africa, particularly in Kenya.

 

The mobile-friendly resource provides bite-size information on:

  • - the rising demand for soybean, particularly in Africa
  • - Asian soybean rust as an emerging threat to soybean production
  • - search for solutions through crop protection, breeding, and biotechnology
  • - the value of effective partnerships in the delivery of ASR-resistant soybeans

 

Pocket K stands for Pockets of Knowledge, which are packaged information on biotechnology products and related issues, optimized for mobile reading.
