Millions of farmers and their families have benefitted in the last three decades of ISAAA's existence, through our knowledge sharing, capacity building initiatives, and support services.
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, ISAAA stood at the forefront of science by continuous sharing of knowledge globally on biotech crop adoption, gene editing, animal biotech, science communication, among others. ISAAA's network has enlarged, especially in the developing countries in Africa, Latin America, and the Arab world. ISAAA in 2020: Accomplishment Report highlights our efforts to bring the benefits of biotech to those who need it most and uplift more lives, especially in the developing world. We also started going the extra miles beyond biotech, expanding our scope to emerging biosciences that are shaping the world of future food and energy.
