| Chinese Regulators Visit U.S. to Study its Regulatory System |

Regulators from China's Ministry of Agriculture met with the members of the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) in the U.S. to discuss the need to better synchronize regulatory systems and the importance U.S. farmers place upon the availability of new technologies. |

Regulators from China's Ministry of Agriculture met with the members of the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) in the U.S. to discuss the need to better synchronize regulatory systems and the importance U.S. farmers place upon the availability of new technologies. The meeting was part of the three-month program of Dr. Nicholas Kalaitzandonakes of the University of Missouri – Columbia, through which the officials will investigate how the U.S. regulatory testing system functions.
Aside from their meeting with NCGA officials, the regulators also met with farmers, the U.S. Soybean Export Council and various private companies. The next leg of the program includes a visit to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
